This BEAUTIFUL melon bowl was made by Santa Clara potter Miana Pablito. Miana is from Zuñi and was married to Robert Nichols of the Santa Clara Pueblo. This lovely pot features a beautiful polish and wonderful striping. The piece is very well done, with excellent symmetry and fine, thin walls. It is 2 1/2 tall and 2 3/8 inches wide. The distance around the pot measures 7 1/2 inches. This pot is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks or hairlines. Additional photos are available upon request. It is signed, "Miana Pablito Santa Clara." Buyer will pay an additional five dollars for shipping and handling (extra shipping charges will apply if shipped outside the U.S.).
