Santa Clara Pueblo Native American Indian Pottery Owl Figurine by Pauline Marie Bourdon This hand coiled, stone polished, and outdoor fired owl figurine is made by Santa Clara artist Pauline Marie Bourdon. Pauline comes from a recognized potting family. She works with her sisters and mother to produce beautiful traditional pottery. This marvelous owl was constructed using the coil method and then handpolished using a polishing stone. This owl has been fired the traditional way in an outdoor pit, smotd with manure to give it a beautiful black finish. You will enjoy the attention to detail highly polished feel of this owl.
This clever owl figurine measures 2.4" tall, 2" wide, and 1.3" deep and is signed by the artist, "Polly Marie Vine Flower, 9/2007.
