Santee Sioux Beaded Hide Cuffs. Circa 1880/1920. Floral & Star design. 5" wide. 11" with fringe on long side. Two panels sinew beaded around 1880. The other two panels thread sewn around 1920. ( Family heirloom, kind of like grandmothers unfinished quilt, but finally completed by a granddaughter.) Hide is sinew sewn, cloth lined, sink edge. A few beads missing and shows age and wear. The older side are the very tiny beads. Overall very nice!
