Vintage Sanyo music box Size 15 x 10 x 9 cmsThe clockwork motor turns on as the tone arm is moved to the start of thepretend shellac record and turns itself off when it's moved back again.The music box plays Nina Roto's theme to Franco Zefirelli's 1968 movie, 'Romeo & Juliet".BBC Radio listeners will know it as the theme from Simon Bates' "Our Tune"feature on Radio 1 in the 1980s. The pretend soundbox/tone arm does not move across the spinning record.The horn and the tone arm are made of gilded plastic, not metal. In undamaged working condition.
