It's actually a bit nicer tha n the average plane Sargent made for Sears. The wood i s in really nice condition with no cracks or repairs . Both the black finish on the body and the red finish on the frog are an easy 90 %. The nickel on the lever ca p is about 40%, with a really classy brass insert for the craft sman logo. The original craftsman branded cutter is 1/16" shy of having a full 2" below the slot. Thanks for looking! There will be a few tools that I will sell “as is”, but for the most part you’ll find tools that are clean and ready to use. You may have to sharpen the cutter on a plane, but you’ll be able to see the quality of the tool from the photos. Ihaven’t figured out how to take good photos of something that’s covered in rust, so I generally give my tools a gentle cleaning. I’ll happily ship anywhere in the US, Europe, Australia or Canada. Just be aware that I have to include the percentage Ebay charges on final value fee (which now includes selling price *and* shipping costs).
