Wonderful French Sarreguemines Majolica pitcher measures 8" in height x 6 1/4" spout to handle. Interior of pitcher is a deep burgundy. Fine underglaze crazing visible upon close inspection. No chips, cracks, or repairs detected. Stamped and incised markings on bottom--please see photo below of marks. Vibrant colors. It is believed that pitcher dates to the early 1900s.
