"Sassy" magazine from March 1988. This is issue #1! Yes, the premiere issue. The spine says: "On your mark..."
Contents: what you need to know before losing your virginity. What happens backstage at the Miss USA pageant. Tips on how to flirt. How to handle gossip. Profiles of three people who lost loved ones to suicide. Profiles of Robert Downey Jr. & Justine Bateman. reviews of INXS, R.E.M., the Eurythmics, Madonna, "Moonstruck," & "Good Morning, Vietnam". & so many hilariously awesome late 80s advertisements in which everyone (even little girls) has unflattering perms.
Condition: some wear along the spine from being opened & paged through. A little wear on the lower right front cover. Two small nail polish comparisons on back cover. Page 16, 36, have small cut outs (scrapbooking words) and pg 41 top right page marking fold. So--not mint, obviously. Otherwise, the magazine has held up really well to the years. In the early days, "Sassy" was printed using much heavier, glossier cover stock, which has helped. No loose pages or anything like that.
Sold as is.
