Vintage to antique satin dress and hat for a 29 " boudoir or bed composition doll (PICTURES BELOW ARE CLICKABLES ) ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... PLEASE CLICK ON ALL PHOTOS ABOVE AND ENLARGEAUCTION IS FOR A DRESS AND MATCHING HAT ONLY, NOT A DOLLThis is a vintage to antique satin dress made for a composition boudoir doll . It has a cotton black lace trim and plenty pink and white ribbon rosette trim. The sleeves are filled with cotton to keep then nice and puffy . This pretty ivorycolor satin dress is still in excellent condition for its age, with a pretty sheen and is very well made. I think it dates from the 40's. I have not washed it, because I found that very old satin washes very well and usually comes out beautiful, very old cotton net lace sometimes falls apart. This dress is pretty clean, without smells, with a few very light traces of soil and t, mostly in the front of course, some of them I noticed only when I had my reading on to measure the dress. . The worse spot is showed on my photo. I found no holes or tears. T are no buttons in the back. The black net or tulle lace is in good condition with no holes, just a few threads pulled and t It will fit a large 29 to 30 inches doll, with a circumference of 12.5 inches circumference right under the arms, usually the thickest
