See Scans. Cover posted by air on November 29, 1941 from Khobar, Saudi Arabia to Mare Island, California, United States. The second scan has a close view of two stamps and the cancellation. The stamps total 33 1/4 G (plus a postal tax stamp). The return address upper left reads "CASOC, Bahrein Island, Persian Gulf" (an oil and petroleum company). Instructions written lower left say "BOAC to Sydney, Pan American Clipper to U.S.A.". T are three censor tapes to the left, the first applied in India and the last at San Francisco. I do not know w the second (light brown) censor tape was used but it might have been Singapore. On the back is a Bahrain transit cancel of November 30, 1941 and a Vallejo (Mare Island Station) receiving cancel of February 8, 1942. The cover rook nearly ten weeks to arrive but the fact is a lot was happening in the Pacific after December 7, 1941. The cover has a light bend down the middle. Fine condition.
