Includes 7 Reels: Washington, D.C. Mount Vernon, Virginia Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, Tennessee Yellowstone Nat'l Park, Wyoming Marine Studios, St. Augustine, Florida Great Smoky Mountains Nat'l Park, Tennessee Hawaii--Hawaiian Flowers A very kind and considerate Ebayer has contacted me with some great info about this View- Master so I am updating my listing. This is a Model A View-Master made from speckled black bakelite. This is probably a very early version (probably early 1940s) made before the company began writing "View-Master" on their boxes. The spring-type mechanism that turns the reels still works, but is rather stiff. This box is clearly the original as it is made to fit the view-master exactly and has a separate compartment for the reels. T is a folded piece of cardboard in the side w the view-master sits that holds it upright in the box. The box is made of a covered cardboard material similar to that of the old cigar boxes. T is a lighter colored heart or apple shaped spot on the top of the box w a label probably sat at one time. As you can see in the pictures, the box top is broken on two corners, but I have not wanted to devalue it by using tape. I have added some pictures to give a better look at the view-master and the box. Contact me with questions before bidding. I will gladly try to find out the answers for you.
