FROM SAX GOURMET WEBSITE........I started playing professionally using a large body duck bill Berg Larsen with a short facing curve. These classic mouthpieces from the 1950's are almost impossible to find now, and when you do you'll pay plenty for a good one. We've recreated these great pieces, and improved on the classic design that made them great. The body is machined from one solid bell quality brass billet, and the small chamber features a straight cliff baffle. The short facing curve adds just a touch of resistance that is preferred by many players. Each Fat Boy is hand faced by me. The finish is polished bare brass, and a ligature and metal cap are included. This mouthpiece is extremely popular with rock and jazz players.
