I ordered laser cut T-6 aircraft aluminum in a medium size tombstone shape and stitched it together with parachute cord. I'm 5'7" 165 lbs, so this should fit man or woman approx the same size. It has been in a bin for the past few months as I finally caved in on suiting up in our households' black leather. I figured that if I wanted to NOT stick out in a sea of black then I should reconsider my body armour. It weighs a mere 7 pounds and is incredibly flexible. I've even cut/curved the crucial plates to avoid pokes to the pits. I can set you up with the plate maker if more plates are needed.Guaranteed in time for Pennsic. Per question - as t are two complete sheets of lamellar , t are roughly 250+ pieces of metal in this auction .
