Hello, this auction contains a beautiful new freshly made Black Leather Chest & Backplate for sale. It is made from 13 to 15oz leather which is 3/16âe of an inch thick or greater. That thick leather ensures the wearer that he/she will feel little from the attacker and provide a long life of durability. This chest & backplate both measure in at 16 1/2" wide at the base x 10 1/2" wide at the top and 21 1/2âe long from shoulder to bottom. This auction is for a chest and matching backplate, both have the same measurements. The straps are 12 inches long and have 9 holes that are 1 inch apart from each other. These numbers have been designed to offer the greatest amount of protection while keeping the bracer design fitting for most people. The chest & backplate were designed, fabricated, and dyed by us at Hastings Leather & Iron a USA only company. Just remember buying directly from the makers will always ensure better quality than buying imported goods, since we can answer and make modifications that others simply cannot. The 3/4" wide straps are made from 8 oz leather which is about 1/8 inch thick. This makes the straps very durable, and thicker than most other armor builders will make them.
