SCA Helm Burgonet with Two face plates ! My best helm

This is a very well made 14ga mild steel Burgonet style helm for SCA heavy list. It comes complete with both a period 14ga solid "buff" visor and a heavy wire grill buff for sport fighting. The buff securely attaches to both the side plates and the visor. The visor is re-enforced. Overall this is quite a sturdy SCA grade helm.

It was used chiefly by 16th cavalry soldiers as a substitute for the heavier close-helms and armets.

The helm is 8 inches side to side at the ears, but very small at the neck. This is a close fit for most full size men, but it is designed to fit close to the head with minimum, firm, padding. I am 6' 2" 7 3/8 hat size and I made it to fit me. NOTE! As is, the two period style hooks secure the buff to the helm but I recommend adding a secondary safety tie or lanyard. This is a brand new helm. No dents or flaws to the helm. 10 day return policy if you are not fully satified.

Why are we so cheap? Oddly, we get a lot of questions about our quality because we are much cheaper then most anyone else. is why: We work closely with overseas partners, frequently traveling t to assist and oversee production and new designs. We regularly import full containers for distribution and wholesale. During that process we have the opportunity to get many items well below US market prices, we also have the usual over-runs and overstock.. eBay is our outlet for eliminating these extra pieces. We do our best to honestly represent every item sold, we offer an unconditional 10 day return policy. Don't be concerned about low prices!
