This is a Highland Steele broadsword. Due to the unfortunate passing of one of its swordsmiths, Highland Steele is no longer in existence and today it is difficult to find swords of equal quality. This sword includes a leather scabbard (I spent $50.00 to have it made for the sword). The blade has not been sharpened (it currently has a "stage" edge), but the blade can most definitely be sharpened. T is some very light rust, which is common for blades of a higher quality (i.e. higher carbon in the steel), and the rust can be easily removed through a little scrubbing and rust remover. The following are the approximate measurements: Overall: 38.5" Length Blade: 28.75" Length; 2" Wideth (near hilt) Hilt: 9.75" (includes the pommel) Weight: 4-5 lbs. Highland Steele swords are high quality, durable, and notoriously superior than the cheap display swords (swords made of 440 steel). Highland Steele swords are also known as "cement slayers" because one of the makers and demonstrators of the swords would break cinder blocks with them.
