COAL BUNKER Kit #75 by Fine Scale Miniatures New Built-Up Model This model was built from an original HO/HOn3 limited edition craftsman kit by Fine Scale Miniatures, Kit #75. The model is new and was carefully built to the FSM specs. The Coal Bunker is a wonderful example of the FSM kits. The model is a fascinating structure loaded with super-detail. It "captures all the charm and realism of the prototype in Hartford, Conn. which was torn down several years ago." I did substitute some newer materials to replace those in the kit: the original FSM sheet of "pre-cut" roof shingles were replaced with Campbell shingles, the simulated metal roofing (wood) on the two sheds was replaced with metal roofing and the wood fence material was replaced with wood of different widths. Figures and scenery are included. The model is attached to a multi-layered base of gator board to accommodate the coal pit in the center. The overall dimensions of the model are 14" long, 8" deep and 9" high. I will carefully package the model for mailing using USPS Priority mail rates to US and International locations.
