The engine was tested and it runs backward and forward though I had to touch it before it moved backward (could be a lose track connection on my part) didn't test the sounds, smoke, lights or the tender. The Engine has a door on the boiler that tends to swing open. This Engine and Tender is graded at C-5 and isin VERY good condition, even though it has been used. just needs some cleaning and would make a wonderful addition to yourcollection/rail road.
