Duplicate cars were auctioned off to make room for newer and unique equipment. As time went on, it became apparent that there was a market for NEW and USED equipment from estate sales, shuttered hobby stores, defunct railroads, changing collecting habits and of course the S.R&T.D R.R It has been the desire of Second Chance Railroad to find new homes for retired, neglected, and reparable rolling stock, and we thank you for allowing us to do so. read more
