SCARCE C. 1900“ROSENTHAL BAVARIA” HEAVY STERLING OVERLAY ART NOUVEAU CUP & SAUCER (DEMITASSE) MAGENTA GLAZE: sterling covers handle and rim of cup and rim of saucer as well as being laid down in an exceptionally beautiful and complex heart-shape leaf and spoked circle pattern which is echoed in the overall design. Crown and crossed flowers mark. Two of us have displayed this seemingly forever. Sterling needs polishing, but we prefer to leave that to the buyer’s taste.
