I am pleased to offer this SCARCE 1930'S - 1940'S GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM COMPLETE WITH BELT AND SCARF - EXCELLENT CONDITION - NR! - at auction. I just acquired this wonderful early Girl Scouts uniform from a local area estate! It is in excellent condition, although it has been used (see images). I am not a Girl Scout collector or expert, so I will try to describe the uniform as well as I can. It appears to be from the late 1930's or early 1940's. I believe the Girl Scouts adopted this style during the the early war effort to save zippers etc. Of course I am no expert and you will have to judge for yourself. It buttons all the way down the front (see images). It has one pocket on the top left side and two lower pockets (see images). The uniform has a button down collar with a V type neck (see images). The uniform also has the official Girl Scout tag from Nation Equipment Service - New York City and it appears to be made of cotton (see images).I do not know the size of the uniform. The uniform has several sewn patches and two metal star pins (see images). The belt is dark green and has a metal Girl Scout buckle (see images). I am starting this wonderful early uniform very low and without any reserve! An excellent opportunity to acquire a scarce 1930's- 1940's Girl Scout uniform complete with belt and scarf for your collection. I use eBay read more
