Hello all!! 2007 is going to be an incredible year for auctions!! It was a fantastic summer of cast iron hunting last year. If you are not on my email list yet, I suggest you get on it, you don't want to miss out!! (Details below) T ARE 27 MORE ITEMS UP FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION. I have banks ranging in age from 1880's to the 1950's. I generally collect but I have been having fun with these auctions so I'm picking up "extras" when I find them now & offering them to all you collectors out t on Ebay. I hit all the garage & estate sales, flea markets, antique shows & some Ebay treasures!!!! I have banks manufactured by AC Williams, Hubley, Astro/Duro, Chein, Arcade , J&E Stevens , Kenton and many more. I have branched out into some of my other cast iron interests, mainly doorstops & paperweights but I have some unexpected surprises as well. Check out the 12 piece 1920's black jazz band est. $600 and the mammy soap dish list $300 . Always no reserve and starting at $.99 because I feel the quality the items will speak for themselves and get a fair price. I regularly have auctions, generally twice a month in the winter months. My next auction will start Sunday February 11th and end on Sunday February 18th. If you would like, send me your email & I will add you to the list & notify you when I have an auction. I ONLY us this info to send you info on my ebay auctions, absolutely nothing else.

Check out my other Mechanical Banks up for auction now!
This die cast metal 1950's Flying Saucer mechanical bank were given out in the 50s for children opening bank accounts to encourage them to save their $$$. Duro Mold manufactured this in Detroit , MI . This is the first space bank ever made & by far it's the rarest. I've never seen one of these with out at LEAST A $200 RESERVE. The paint is 96% intact, light rubs and nicks. The spring/firing mechanism works like a charm, has 2 settings depending on which planet you want to send the coin to! The trap is present as well as THE KEY (PICTURED) hard to find with key! T are no cracks, chips or breaks other than any stated. This is a fine little bank; you can't appreciate one of these until you have one in your hands! Truly magnificent!!! Last one I sold went for $400+
I suggest to the winner to print a copy of this auction, it will increase the resale value of your purchase tremendously having this information as a hard copy along with the bank. You are paying for this information, make use of it! Plus it's fun to look back in 20 years and say I only paid $200 for that way back when. Most of the banks today selling for $200-$400 were $15-$50 in the mid 1970's, big money when the reference guides I have were printed.
