I'm rather excited this week to offer up the first batch from a significant and interesting collection of all kinds of pucks, recently acquired from a longtime collector who was at it for some 50 years(!). Lots of intriguing and desirable stuff is to come in the weeks ahead (I'll likely have to take somewhat of a break after this week to get through the Christmas period), with 2016 looking like it'll be a fun year for you to tune-in to my auctions, normally starting and ending on Tuesday nights. If there are particular teams or leagues that you'd like to see listed, drop me a line but please refrain from offering to buy off eBay to save me fees. I have thousands of pucks to go through so you can understand that I don't really have time to snap/send individual pictures and Email back and forth while trying to get as many on as possible each week..........Collectors of NHL All-Star Game pucks should be interested in this desirable biscuit, done up for the 1980 mid-season classic held at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and which saw Gordie Howe receive a monstrous ovation prior to playing in his last All-Star Game tilt. Near mint Viceroy puck has "VICEROY" and " CANADA " on the side and will make for a special addition to a big-time NHL puck display. I noticed that one like this sold in recent weeks on eBay for $212. Although I don't usually have a "Buy it Now" option, I'm starting this one off with that option, until someone places an opening bid.......... ABOUT PAYMENT/SHIPPING: Because I'm fortunate to live close to the Canada-U.S. border, (I'm actually in Canada), I can send off your package from either side, depending on where you live, resulting in quick delivery and no customs issues/delays. So then, if you're in the U.S. , your package will be sent via the USPS and if you're in Canada , it'll be sent by Canada Post, (despite what it says on this page and on your invoice). Although it may state that I don't ship to other/overseas countries, I still do, with shipping charges below. ........ Shipping for those of you in the U.S. will be as follows : (Disregard the shipping cost listed below - this one with go Priority with insurance for $6.50). One puck can go first class for $5, with 2-3 pucks in a priority flat rate box for $6.50 and 4-6 pucks for $12. CANADA : $10 for one-puck winners in Quebec and Ontario , $12 for those in Manitoba and $14 for other provinces in Canada except BC ($16). Then it'll be $12 for 2-3 pucks (QC, ON, MB), $16 for 2-3 pucks to other provinces except BC ($18). For 4-or-more pucks across Canada , I'll be guesstimating when I send you your invoice and if I go over by more than $2, I'll give a shipping refund. Please take note that 10% of what you pay for shipping goes to eBay - yes, eBay takes a cut of the shipping charge. For other countries, one puck ships from the U.S. side for $15, two for $20 and then 3-5 pucks in a flat rate priority box/envelope for $27. ........ PLEASE, PLEASE, refer to this description for shipping charges and disregard, (if different), whatever it says on this page, elsewhere on eBay, any "calculator" affair or the eBay notice after the auction. If you're not sure, please Email me to inquire. The invoice I'll send you the night my auctions end will include the correct shipping charge. ( It's best to wait, and PLEASE WAIT, for my invoice if you're not in the U.S. , Quebec or Ontario , or have won multiple auctions - the shipping charge will likely be incorrect ). However, if you're in the U.S. , Quebec or Ontario , have won one auction and would like to settle up right away, that would be great - go right ahead. ........ I really would appreciate a PayPal payment within 2 days, especially from my American "winners". If you can get payment to me within 48 hours, I'll be able to get your package off to you on Friday (or Thursday if everyone pays quickly), when I head to the U.S. If I'm shipping from Canada , I usually can do so within 48 hours of receiving payment. If you can't get payment to me within 7 days, please give me a heads-up. ........
