DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a very scarce Pre-WWII Remington pocket knife. The knife is 2-3/8" long and has very rare maroon colored Abalone (mother of pearl) shell handles. The knife is a lobster pattern with a pen blade on one side and a long nail file on the opposite. Designed for a watch fob or chain, this one has a bail for attaching to either. The blade on the knife is stamped with the bullet circle with Remington spelled out in the middle. The blade has been used and has light age spots and stains. Both blades snap when opening, but the blade is slow closing. The handles do have a tiny tiny tiny hairline at one of the pins, but it is impossible to see without a very strong magnifying glass. I found it, so I tell you; but I urge you not to let this prevent you from owning this knife. A great little knife to add to

SHIPPING: Shipping cost does not include Insurance. If you want Insurance, you must request it. The shipping cost does include Delivery Confirmation. All items are shipped by the US Postal Service unless we agree to something else, or an item requires to be shipped by ground transportation, then I use your preference. I do not ship everything by Priority Mail. If weight or size dictates Priority Mail then so be it. Otherwise, I will ship First Class Mail which is usually only a day later.

GRADING and CONDITION: I only list original antiques and collectibles. I believe you will find that my descriptions are accurate -- without embellishment. My condition rating system is: poor, fair, good, excellent or mint. Sometimes the condition has a modifier such as near, plus or very. I seldom list an item with a condition below fair plus. When condition is debatable, I try to understate the rating so that the buyer will always be satisfied. It is important to point out that I do not polish, buff, or repair any item I sell. Items are sold just as I collected them. It is my policy to leave all decisions to restore or repair an item to the new owner. Should I decide to sell an item that I have restored, I will tell you so in the description.

RETURN POLICY: As a general rule, all sales are final. If you are bidding on my items, you should know what you are doing. I work hard on my descriptions and I provide well defined Photos. If you have any doubts about either, it is your responsibility to ask for clarity. That said, t still may be circumstances w I will allow a return, but I will make that determination on a case by case basis. In the event I do allow the return of an item, I will generally only refund the purchase price. I will not return mailing fees. Additionally, I will not refund anything until eBay refunds my fees through the Dispute process which requires the buyers agreement, and the buyer has posted positive feedback.
