No Reserve. A scarce original circa 1920's Eveready Sunshine Carbon Arc Lamp made by the National Carbon Co Inc Cleveland and San Francisco Model M-1 which is serial number 6187 1300 watts and 115 volts for either A.C. or D.C. current. The door of the lamp is cast aluminum with a glass window while the rest of the lamp is heavy guage pressed steel. The aluminum tag has Pat Appl For in the upper right corner. This carbon arc lamp measures 21 1/2" tall and is 16" wide. Condition - appears to be complete as it was recently found in the attic of an early well to do estate with some overall light surface oxidation to case, glass is cracked and needs to be replaced and one of the black bakelite side knobs is broken off and lost. The lamp retains what appears to be its original electrical cord which is quite worn as expected. A fine and rare item for the collector of early scientific or electrical antiques which would be very nice once properly restored.
