ConditionFor your consideration is this hard-to-find antique composition lady doll in her wonderful old antique clothes. She is about 22 inches tall and has an early hair style. She has painted features still in excellent condition. The composition shoulder head has just some light surface crazing and a few small flakes and has nice original blushing. The hair has the original paint in great condition. She is on her original hard stuffed body which is in very good condition for the age. She has leather arms in nice condition with supple, soft, fingers. The muslin is firmly packed and solid with good seams and nothing that looks like it will easily tear or burst. It appears that she has some cloth added under the shoulder head as shown which may hide a small repair in the body and there are a few dots on her upper back. The dress has a classic antique look with many brass buttons down the back and a big bow, just perfect for her. It is very well made by hand and has had repairs. The threads in the repairs are a different color and can be seen in some spots. It will need a seam closed in the right front shoulder seam and a few holes and tears in less conspicuous places. The black hose stockings are high quality and in excellent condition. Don't miss this little lady because she is a very scarce antique doll still in original clothes.
