Foldout plans of the machinery installation components; island general arrangement; plus port and starboard outboard profiles and deck plan of the German aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. Foldout plans of converted merchant carrier. Four additional unnumbered glossy pages at end with 8 photographs. Softcover. Size 8.25 x 5.75 inches. Written by a widely-known German naval architect, author of a standard warship design book, with a detailed focus on the design of the German WW 2-era aircraft carrier GRAF ZEPPELIN. Exemplary of a summary monograph on this ship type, drawing from authoritative sources on German ships and design practice. Used condition, but in good condition. Some small sepia stain spots on top edge. One very slight bump at lower right edge. Contents are completely intact, no marks or tears and the binding remains tight, giving evidence of careful use.
