This has a gilt brass hilt with a lions head pommel set with green and red stone eyes, the guard is well cast with scrolls and a crowned anchor within an oval cartouche, the front and rear guards both fold flat, the grip is white bone? Wrapped with gilt wire, this is loose in places, the plated blade is 29 inches in length and is etched within a panel, A KIRCHHOF S/I H FRESE, it also has ships a crowned anchor and military trophies, blade with some corrosion to the plating, no scabbard
