The EXTRAORDINARY NOC DELEGATION BADGE From MICRONESIA - LONDON 2012!! This is the official Delegation Badge given to each of the members of the Olympic Team from MICRONESIA who participated in the Summer Olympic Games held in LONDON in 2012. This large, beautifully-crafted badge, has two original military clutch closures and features a silvered copper Pacific scallop shell, and the Olympic rings. Dated for London . . . both badge and ribbon are in mint condition. Micronesia, a former US Territory and now an independent nation, entered the Olympic Family in 1999, and immediately caught the attention of collectors with its unique pins and badges. This big, two-piece ribboned Badge is almost guaranteed to be the centerpiece of any London NOC memorabilia collection. What makes these Badges so desirable? Each athlete, coach, guest and Team official is given just one each of these Badges. They are not meant to be trading pins, but as commemorative pieces for participating in London.
