for you is a very scarce to find old Australian heavy glass quart aqua fruit jar. It is embossed on front.... FEDERAL(draped flag) FRUIT JAR. Has one of the best ground lips I've yet to see on one of these old jars with only a couple of very tiny grinding flakes, most likely done at factory. Jar is a wide mouth variety, with the old lightning style seal. This jar is all original and complete, and comes with the scarce correct matching aqua wide mouth glass lid. The lid is chip free and has some neat extra pieces of glass. The thick glass in the old jar is nice and clean and chip free, and has a textured look to it. I bought this jar at the Muncie Indiana jar show some years back and have enjoyed it in my collection for a long time, and am now offering it up to a new home. Being sold as is, as are all my vintage and antique items, so look at pictures and ask any questions you may have before bidding and also please take the time to read my short payment instructions below.
