Very RARE
VINTAGE, Walt Disney's SNOW WHITE and the Seven Dwarfs GLASS Christmas Tree Ornaments DATED & MARKED -1938 Walt Disney Enterprises Best of the Best of Vintage Disney. ORIGINAL BOX ! Box shows Snow White and Dopey Hanging each other's ornament on a Christmas tree. Grumpy is pouting in the corner being grumpy. Happy is picking ornaments out of the box. Sneezy is being used as a step stool and Bashful is hiding behind the banner. Sleepy and Doc are watching. Box lid opens up and has a pop-up for display purposes. The entire box is colorful; the sides, the inside flap, the insert background. All the original glass ornaments are in side in their proper marked places. I have seen some of the ornaments occasionally on ebay, but one one at a time. They usually bring around around $70 - $100 a piece. Brand NEW hand blown glass ornaments cost about $25 a piece. These are 70 years old. Several of them have glass damage, but all of them are removable from their box and holdable. Doc - Silver in color, is whole, complete and unbroken Bashful - Red in color is whole complete and unbroken Sleepy - Red in color is whole, complete and unbroken. Sneezy - Dark Blue in color, is missing one elbow Grumpy - Green in color, is missing his right shoe Snow White - White in color, is missing one shoulder pad of her dress Happy - Blue in color, is missing his elbows Dopey - Gold in color, is the worst of the bunch, and is missing his feet. They all still have their removable hanger tops. None of the tops or hanger parts are loose or broken. This is a truly Special set in a beautiful display box.
