This extremely scarce and hard to find Wedgwood Caneware Tea Set is a reproduction of one made c. 1800. Made by Wedgwood about 20 years ago, in very limited quantities, it is composed of the Teapot, Creamer and Sugar. The photos really do not do this set justice. Detail on the applied figures of putti is really fantastic. This might have been made for the Wedgwood Collector's Society but I am not sure. The applied Basalt Slip decoration is particularly good. The set is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Teapot is 7 1/2" long and 5" high with a dia of 4 1/4". Creamer is 5" long and sugar has a diameter of 3". Really a superb and unusual set for the Wedgwood Collector.Shipping will be 16.00 within the US, higher to other areas. I do accept personal checks, money orders and PayPal. Thanks for looking and good luck!!!
