Schõnberg, Arnold. (1874-1951) Austrian composer. Typed Letter Signed, in German, 1 p., 10¾x8¼`, Frankfurt, 12 Oct. 1928. Fine. To Paul Aron in Dresden, stating that, in principle, he would be happy to accept Aron`s kind invitation to perform his `Suite opus 29` with Aron. `However, adequate pre-rehearsals would have to be arranged because it`s impossible for me to stay long enough for you to learn it from the very beginning….` Musicians and critics say that long exposure and repeated listening is necessary to appreciate Schõnberg`s music, and, obviously, to play it properly. `Suite opus 29` is scored for seven instruments.
