You are bidding on a complete set of SCHMIDT BEER cans, the complete 21 can "outdoor" series collection . t his set is in it's original and superb condition and have been in my posession since 1976; they were directly pulled from the assembly line just for me, at the Schmidt Brewery plant in St. Paul, MN., a popular and history landmark in the city of St. Paul for approx. 100 years, before it closed for good in the early 1980's. These cans are sealed and unopened as you can see in the photos, they are also empty, but most of all, they are INTACT, no puncture holes !! (see photo). They are extremely rare to find in this condition and for anyone that is a fan of this collection, they are truly one of a kind. These metal cans, have been stored and boxed for over 30 years, away from sunlight, dust and moisture, t is just the slightest hint of some oxydation on some of them, on the seams and around the top seams, but otherwise they are in original condition, no obvious rust, a bit dirty perhaps from storage. One of the cans (the horse...see photo) has a blemish on the red SCHMIDT label, this came off the assembly line this way and has been t since i acquired them, also the colors are still bright and vibrant, a couple of the cans have labels that are not as bright red as the others, but again, they were pulled off the line that way.
