Hello folks, I'm back at the easel again! Fresh from the easel: A lovely 60" wide x 30" tall x 1 1/2" deep unframed Oil Studio work on Gallerywrap Linen! The real McCoy. This will endure past your own lifetime... ** THIS IS A HUGE PAINTING - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE ROOM FOR IT! Title: "Tuscan Dawn" This piece is a studio work done in oil, with many, many layers of glazed color applied, and will glow all on it's own.We get a lot of people who come into the gallery looking for a painting of Tuscany - well this is Tuscany - MY WAY! A frame is NOT necessary for this piece, as it is actually part of the painting, a more contemporary look. The sides and front 3" frame border are painted a dark espresso brown. Please see the second photo for how this looks. I have been getting requests for larger work, although I usually sell these pieces only through my gallery, I have included this piece for your perusal. This is a LARGE scale version of similar composition and subject that have been so popular with my patrons on eBay. It is also offered for sale and hung in my gallery in Geneva, so first come, first serve! This is a great opportunity to purchase unframed work direct from a well known artist. I am listing this piece only at the gallery price, and have it for sale in the gallery as well. Signed lower right. It would look stunning in either a contemporary or arts & crafts decor. Just as a bit of trivia, t is NO black used in this painting, or in any of my paintings. This painting is also listed for sale in my brick-and-mortar gallery at $2300 unframed. Buy it for less ! I only use archival quality paints and substrates and finish all paintings with an archival varnish for protection and durability. This painting is done on 1 1/2" Gallerywrap Linen canvas, the sides and front 3" frame border are painted a dark espresso brown. Insurance is optional. I do not believe I can ship this piece to Canada or abroad because of the size. NOTES ON SHIPPING: I wish that I could ship for less than I do, but as an individual I cannot purchase shipping supplies in large bulk, and I use shipping services (Fedex and USPS Priority Mail) that have proven to be reliable. I always include insurance in the shipping cost; we all hope that we won't NEED the insurance, but with a one-of-a-kind item, it is simply prudent to have it. It takes me 3 solid hours to pack and prepare shipment for a painting of this size. I perform all of the packing myself. My packing may be overkill, but you are spending good money on this piece, it is one of a kind, and I assume you would rather it arrive safely than skimp on shipping.
