Focal length 25mm (1/2"), produces images that are twice as wide and twice as high as a standard lens, at the same projection distance. Sometimes called 'short throw' lens, because it produces a large image even at a short 'throw' (distance between projector and screen). For example - with the screen at ca. 4.5 meters from the projector, the image produced is ca. 1.70 x 1.25 meter; at 6 meters distance, the image is ca. 2.30 x 1.70 meter. Ideal for home theater use where space is at a premium! Aperture is 1:1.4 (f/1.4) which results in a significantly brighter image than with standard quality lenses.
