This is one of the knives we just acquired out of the collection of Irv Trachtenberg, former Marketing and Product Development Manager of Schrade Cutlery from early 1970's until 1984. We bought this massive collection and will be offering some of the absolute finest pieces of Schrade Cutlery, and many other extremely fine pieces for auction in the upcoming days, weeks, and months. Folks, this is a totally outstanding group of knives, you'll see, just keep watching our auctions. With each knife sold out of the Irv Trachtenberg Collection, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity verifying this knife came out of this splendid group of knives, spanning a 20 year period. As you can see in the photos, t is a huge roll of knives I have pictured. This is a COMPLETE roll of all of the Schrade, New York manufactured United States models from 1979. I will be auctioning off these individually. Irv's business card was stored within the roll with "1979" written on the back. You can see his business card at the top point of the photo of the roll of knives and if you look close, you can find the knife that is being auctioned, in the pictures.This knife for auction out of the Schrade 1979 Models Roll is the Schrade 895 3 Blade Stock Knife, 3 1/2" closed, featuring the "Schrade" stamped Coat Of Arms shield. The master Clip blade is stamped with Schrade N.Y. U.S.A. 895.This 1979 issue Schrade 895 3 Blade Stock Knife from the Irv Trachtenberg Collection, is in mint condition and being offered at No Reserve.
