The flagship of Schrade's fleet was the LB8, a fine hunting folder with rear locking system. This dazzling knife is in mint condition, new, with original grey box, sorry no papers, but the value is in the knife. The last few years before the closing Schrade did not even produce this knife so they have become quite scarce. Collectors have valued this knife well above $200. . . The genuine Schrade belting leather sheath on this one is mint and the older version from the 80s--notice the belt loop on the rear, and the emblem is "Unlce Henry" not "Schrade". Schrade LB8 PaPa Bear lockblade. . . 5" close length with Schrade Staglon handles, one large clip blade, Schrade+ Stainless Steel, brass bolsters and liners, and the Uncle Henry signature on the shield on the display side. First date of prouction was in 1982 and last date of production was around 2001 with no sheath offered the last couple of years. Last published retail price was $63, limited quantities from 1990 to 2000.
