Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering this Schrade knife for auction from Irv Trachtenberg's Collection. Personal checks, money orders, and Pay Pal gladly accepted. TN residents pay 9.25% state sales tax. Winning bidder pays $6.75 for USPS Priority Mail Shipping with Insurance included in the Shipping price. Thanks. This is one of the knives we just acquired out of the collection of Irv Trachtenberg, former Marketing and Product Development Manager of Schrade Cutlery from early 1970's until 1984. We bought this massive collection and will be offering some of the absolute finest pieces of Schrade Cutlery, and many other extremely fine pieces for auction in the upcoming days, weeks, and months. Folks, this is a totally outstanding group of knives, you'll see, just keep watching our auctions. With each knife sold out of the Irv Trachtenberg Collection, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity verifying this knife came out of this splendid group of knives, spanning a 20 year period. This is a mint in the box Schrade Scrimshaw Series 1981 Folding Hunter for auction. This knife is 5 1/8" closed and features the playful Raccoons scene on the front side handle. The Clip blade is stamped with Schrade U.S.A. SC 508 and etched with "Schrade Scrimshaw". The bottom right corner of the knife is signed by the the noted artist Frank Giorgianni, who was responsible for many of the Schrade artwork specials, as it reads "F. Giorgianni '81". This knife is serial numbered on the nickel silver bolster with #SS 20, a number that we have found on many of Irv's knives. I presume it represents "Salesman Sample".
