This is one of the knives we just acquired out of the collection of Irv Trachtenberg, former Marketing and Product Development Manager of Schrade Cutlery from early 1970's until 1984. We bought this massive collection and will be offering some of the absolute finest pieces of Schrade Cutlery, and many other extremely fine pieces for auction in the upcoming days, weeks, and months. Folks, this is a totally outstanding group of knives, you'll see, just keep watching our auctions. With each knife sold out of the Irv Trachtenberg Collection, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity verifying this knife came out of this splendid group of knives, spanning a 20 year period. This is a Schrade Special Issue Federal Duck Stamp 1991/1992 Commemorative Sheath Knife for auction. This knife is 9 1/4" overall with a 4 7/8" blade and features the 1991-92 Federal Duck Stamp Limited Edition etching on the front side of the blade. The tang stamp reads Schrade + U.S.A. LTD. The pakkawood scales feature the brass bird's eye rivets and the oval Duck In Flight shield. Additionally, this knife is serial numbered on the brass guard with #1842.
