HI, This Auction is for the medium three blade Stockman pattern pocket knife made by the Schrade Cutlery Company Walden,New York. This knife measures just shy of 3 3/8" in the closed position and features beautiful black Delrin (I Think) with peachseed jigging.Schrade put Black Delrin and black Bone on their knives during the time that this knife was made.It also has the very popular Crest style Nickle & Silver inlay Shield. The handles are not chipped or cracked. This old pocket knife has never been used, carried or re-sharpened.The bolsters are Nickle & Silver and the pins & liners are Brass. The tang stamp is Schrade Walden N.Y. U.S.A.According to my book on Cutlery markings this knife was made from 1946-1973 so for it's age it really is in great condition and it is very collectible especially since Schrade is no longer producing any knives in the U.S.But the Walden Stamp has been very collectible for a long time now.I do know that the top bidder will be very pleased with this old knife.T is some very light storage marks on the bolsters.T really are no other flaws to mention so good luck and Thank you for looking! (I have other knives listed) |
