Up for auction is a Deluxe Set of Schrade "Warren" Folding Whittlers in mint condition. These knives were made to order for the WARREN TOOL COMPANY INC., and were designated, as the official knife of the "NATIONAL CARVERS MUSEUM", in Monument, Colorado. They feature beautiful walnut wood handles, nickel silver bolsters, special National Carvers Museum shields, pins, and brass liners. The blades are the Wharncliff (Warren 1) and Pen (Warren 2) and made from high carbon tool steel. This set is #0614 of 1500 sets made, and are so engraved in the front bolsters. They measure 3 3/4" closed, and both have 1 7/8" blades. These sets were made in Ellenville, N.Y., U.S.A. around 2001, and will never be made again since the close of the Schrade/Imperial Plant in 2004. These are a must for the vintage Schrade collector, and are sure to appriciate in the coming years. The set comes with the original hinged walnut wood box w/latch, registration form and COA'S.
