This toy belonged to my husband. When he was very small he lived in Germany on an army base. He thinks his mother purchased it there for him. He's 50 and his brother is 54. The basic parts are metal. The little Pig's face is covered with felt. His Ears are felt. I think his eyes are glass. His clothes are felt. He's holding a tin Violin . The other arm is missing, only the wire remains. The place to wind it is on his back under the sailor collar. I don't have the key. I did however test it using a key from another toy. When wound he spins around while moving the wire that used to have his arm on it to play the violin. His right foot has Schuco-Patent imprinted on it and his left foot has Made in Germany imprinted on it. The violin has scratches in the paint and may be slightly bent. The felt clothing is soiled and has a rough edge on one side of the sailor collar in back as you can see in photo. There are 2 felt pieces cut to look like ribbons on the back of the hat that don't show in the photos. The paint on the feet is scratched and there is some rust. His hat is coming unglued. Please look carefully at the photos as I may have missed something. I'd be happy to answer questions or supply more photos.
