This is a Schumann #25076 Round Covered Vegetable Bowl Floral on Cobalt/Black Scalloped Rim Gold Trim. Schumann made this pattern in both cobalt-blue and black. In some lighting, this bowl looks black but in other lighting and angles it has a slight cobalt hue (not the echt cobalt though seen on other German porcelain) so I'm not sure which color it was called by Schumann. This is a stunningly elegant design on quality china! It is 3-1/4" high to the top rim of the bowl, 6-1/4" high to the top of the finial on the lid, and 8-1/4" wide at the top rim of the bowl. There is an 1/4" unglazed strip on the top inside of the bowl where the lid sits. It is in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or stains. It looks as if it was barely used! This is a previously used item and may show light signs of gentle use when tilting in the light. Anything beyond that will be specifically noted in the description.
