~~ A MUST HAVE FOR DRESDEN LOVERS ~~ You will love this Very Elegant and Exquisite Plateau / Compote, Made of Fine Porcelain from Germany. The plate and base bear the Schumann Germany Chateau / Dresden Flowers backstamp with lion and shield and are numbered 30 and 60. The rim of the plate is beautifully scalloped and the inner edge is beautifully pierced or reticulated. Both pieces feature a lovely, bright floral display and many gold accents. The plate is 7 1/2" across and the assembled piece stands about 4 1/2" tall. As you can see, the screw that attaches the pieces together is rusted. I have not tried to separate the pieces. The cork "washers" are intact. This treasure is wonderful on display and a very grand gift and vintage collectible. Thanks for shopping with us.
