For your consideration, This vintage 1970 Schwinn Sting-ray Deluxe 3-speed green bicycle in very good used condition. The serial number of the Sting-ray is KF34### which dates it to a 1970 model. The bicycle chainguard looks great, only minor signs of wear, see pictures. The frame and fork paint are in overall good shape for the age of the bicycle, there are minor scuffs in the paint, I try to show them in the pictures as much as possible. To the best of my knowledge the bicycle is all original, a few items may be non original nos parts but they are all period correct. There are no dents or dings in the frame, other then some minor use, the paint overall is pretty nice for original. The original metal flake glitter seat is in very good condition, shows that slightly age look, but no tears or rips in the seat, really nice!! The sissy bar only shows slight signs of use as well, it's in pretty good condition. Both chrome fenders are in great shape, some minor light scratches and use, but no dings. The fenders have some light dirt and rust underneath, they really shine though!!! The Schwinn approved waffle style block pedals are original and in good shape, some wear near the outter pedals stamps. The rear wheel is a S-2 Schwinn Tubular side stamped rim, double kurl?, with a Schwinn Sting-ray black slik and a Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub. The front wheel is a Schwinn S-7 Tubular side stamped, with a Schwinn Westwind black tire and Schwinn approved front hub. Both tires are in really good shape, they both hold air and look to be nos. The 3-speed shifter is in good shape, the shift decal on top of the shifter is missing, the HI LO area, see picture 6. The rims have a few MINOR dings, I located 1 in the front and 1 in the back, some light rust and wear on the rims, as shown in the pictures. The rims could be cleaned up to look very nice!! The seat comes complete with Gulco reflector in good shape and bonus green lever cover. Another great bonus of this bicycle is the green glitter bicycle lock I will include with the bicycle!!! The headbadge only shows some minor signs of wear, it is in good condition. This is a an amazing 1970 Schwinn Deluxe Sting-ray and is a must have for your bicycle collection!! The bicycle may need minor adjustments, bolt tightening and such, it has been stored for years but has been taken care of. Be sure to check out my other listings for other great items!!
