Schwinn Lemon Peeler, Serial Number EHxxxxx (May âe(tm)72). Super nice high quality restoration from the early 90's!

This is one of a collection of every year and color of the original Schwinn Sting-Ray Krate series including a 1968 Orange Krate (first year), 1969 Pea Picker (first year), 1970 Cotton Picker (first year), 1971 Grey Ghost (only year), 1972 Lemon Peeler and 1973 Apple Krate. The bikes were all stored inside and kept clean so you won't be disappointed. I have enjoyed the collection for many years and now it's time for you to have the opportunity. My very first krate was a used '70 Lemon Peeler purchased back in 1974 - many great memories developed over the years on that cool yellow 5-speed, and I'm sure this incredible disc brake model will do the same for you!

Frame: Very nice, professionally painted with correct color. Chain guard: Very nice chrome, screen printed as original. Fork: Nice original springer, good chrome, correct bolts. Stem: Nice chrome. Handlebars: Original Schwinn, almost no scuffing on top, yellow grips. Brake Levers: Very nice original levers with optional yellow covers. Shifter: Original Stik-Shift, good chrome, decals are chipped. Cables: Correct grey cables, all work well. Cable Clamps: Correct frame and front fork clamps are nice. Seat Post: Nice chrome. Sissy bar/Shocks: Good chrome, assembly is complete and works well. Seat: Hyper-Formance Pete seat, yellow w/black stripe, nice, pivot washers complete. Front Wheel: Nice S-7. Front Tire: Original Schwinn Superior. Front Brake: Atom drum brake, works well. Front Fender: Nice chrome, no dents, hangar assembly complete. Rear Wheel: Nice 28-spoke single knurl S-2, gear cluster works great, cluster guard excellent. Rear Tire: Schwinn reproduction RWL Sting-Ray Slik. Rear Brake: Super nice original Schwinn Disc Brake, hub dated 4-71. Rear Fender: Good chrome, no dents, rolled rear edge. Crank/Sprocket: Good chrome, original MAG, good chain. Pedals: Schwinn large grid pattern, yellow reflectors, slightly scuffed caps. Derailleur: Good chrome with some slight pavement scuffing. Kickstand: Correct -365, folds correctly and works well. Reflector: Stratolite 3âe No. 38.
