Bike offered as is. The second character in the serial number is faint, from what I can tell, the serial number is M353026 which as far as I can tell, dates its manufacture to 12-17-63. I've called the color coppertone, but I may be mistake on that. The color looks to be from a gold to orange over a silver undercoat. The name American is still faintly visible on the chainguard, but the original decal is totally gone. I believe the fenders are stainless steel, as they have no rust, and the rear fender has a bicycle registration sticker on it from cedar falls, 1964-1965. Both the Schwinn Knurled rims cleaned up nicely, although t are some small specs of rust on the front one. Both tires are 26-1 3/4 to fit S7 rims. The front tire looks to be an original Schwinn Westwind. And the rear tire is a replacement. The frame looks straight, with no bends, breaks or cracks that I can see. It is a nice riding bike. The rear coaster brake is a made in USA Bendix Red Band hub. In closing, the bike does show some wear, and scratches in the pain, and small dents on the fender, but is in nice shape over all, in my opinion, given my opinion.
