They don't get much nicer than this one. This is a 1968 Deluxe Twinn Tandem 5 speed with a rear drum brake. It was accessorized when purchased with proper Schwinn lights and generator, rear rack and even coppertone streamers. The coppertone color is somewhat rare and is considered desirable. It still has the original Schwinn Superior tires on the heavy duty S7 wheels. You can tell it was not ridden much and was well taken care of. I like this era Twinn because it has chrome fenders, the famous teardrop S reflector, S seats, and bow pedals. These are reminiscent of the Schwinn Corvettes and Jaguars of a few years earlier. The brakes and derailleur are working very nicely. It rides like a dream. I have had a number of Twinns. The 5 speeds are the nicest to ride because you can shift as needed. Believe it or not, they shift smoothly when properly adjusted. The 2 speed kickbacks are not too bad. The single speeds are very hard to pedal up any hill. I am willing to ship this in 2 boxes. It has to be taken apart with the frame in 1 box and the wheels and fenders in another. I shipped a 2 speed Twinn to CA for around $125. Of course it would be less closer to Pittsburgh.
