Here is a 26" mens Schwinn heavy weight deluxe handle bar set-up including the deluxe, "triple-crown" Schwinn gooseneck with both "AS" bolts, and Schwinn script grips in greenish-blue color. This set-up came off a 26" mens bike with serial number, G016xxx found on the bottom bracket that appears to date to January 19, 1950 (according to a website I found). I cannot confirm if these bars and neck are original to that frame, but it's what was on it when I got it.The beauty here is you just pop this set on your bike... all done! No need to hunt down all the individual parts, it's all here.Bars measure approx. 27" across (incl. grips), and the throw of the straight grip section is approx. 9" long.The set-up is complete with the deluxe, Schwinn only "razor back" or "triple crown" neck, and the difficult to find "AS" (Arnold Schwinn) stamped bolts. The original wedge is present, as are the beautiful, original Schwinn script grips in an unusual, pretty sea blue color. These would look perfect on a blue/turquoise Panther! Please see photos for all that's included in this auction. Bars appear straight with good original chrome, only one spot on the right where a horn or light accessory was mounted can be seen where chrome has come off. The bars and neck will clean-up even better than seen in my photos with a little elbow grease. Schwinn chrome is notorious for being bullet proof, and I'm confident the light peppering will come off and the chrome will gleam even more than it does in my photos.This handle bar/neck set-up is correct for Phantom, Panther, B6, Hornet etc. I have seen just a triple crown neck by itself sell for over $75. Add in the clean, original blue script grips, and the orig. bars and it might cost you upwards of $175 to assemble this set-up on your own. However, I'm starting this old-school auction at $9.99 with NO reserve , high bidder wins it no matter the closing price. Gooseneck has a nick on the top (visible in the photos), but original "AS" keeper bolts are present, clean and not stripped.
