SCHWINN TYPHOON/BREEZE HOLLYWOOD RR BIKE/BICYCLE BASKET � Description is an original vintage 1970s bicycle basket which I removed from a the back of a vintage 26" Schwinn Typhoon bicycle. This mounts in place on the back of your bike and puts a basket on each side of your rear wheel. This basket is well built and very sturdy. They dont make them like this anymore! This is correct for bicycles like Schwinn Breeze, Hollywood, Typhoon, American, Corvette, Jaguar, DX, Phantom, Fair Lady, Monark, JC Higgins, etc. It is a real classic and they do not sell them like this anymore. This is a LARGE and roomy basket to fit lots of things! EACH basket is approx 13 3/4" by 7" by 10" tall. The legs are approx 16" long. This is one of the nicest style baskets you will find! It is in good condition with shiney chrome. I was going to polish it, as that will really make this one look good but decided not to. Reason, some people want to keep the aged look to match their vintage bike. This looks good and will look great with time spent polishing it with some light steel wool or install it like it is. It is simple to mount and keeps bike riding safer. It looks cool having a basket on an old bike as well! Should fit most any bike. Perfect to fit newspapers, groceries, or ? A great item for your bike! Great for carrying things and keeping your hands free! A great safety idea! Sold as is simply because it is used. The last one of these I shipped was over $26 to the west coast. I priced shipping lower as that seemed like a lot. I will make up the difference.
